Lily of the Valley Event + Ecosystem Update

🌸 Lily of the Valley Event — Live Now

A brand new 20-day seasonal event launched at the end of this AMA. Head to Terra Villa Central and walk through the portal to reach the Whispering Valley of Lilies.

How it works:

1. Talk to Lila to start the quest — she gives you one free Bloomer per day
2. Use Bloomers to collect 25 Lily of the Valley seeds per day from flowers on the map
3. Plant the seeds — they bloom after 12 hours but die 12 hours after blooming, so don't miss them
4. Craft Lily Offerings at any textile station
5. Deposit offerings to the Hollow Tree near Lila to earn Lily Coins
6. Spend Lily Coins at the Whispering Market
7. 
   

To complete the quest: Deposit 70 offerings by May 26th. You can't miss more than 6 days.

NFT landowners will generate surplus from the lily plants. Stacked tasks themed around the event will also give bonus Lily Coins.

High-value items in the Whispering Market:

1. 30 bee NFT pets (minting machine open until June 15th — traits are random, smarts base is 30)
2. 25 Lily Glow Sticks (particle effect that floats around your character)
3. Lily Charm — consumable, activates a 2-week 20% speed buff on farming, mining, animal care, and forestry. Stackable.

Quest completion rewards: 100 reputation points + a Lily Lantern (white, pink, or purple)

Ronin Chain Migration — May 12th

Ronin is migrating to Ethereum on Tuesday May 12th at 3pm UTC. The process is expected to take around 10 hours.

During this window:

1. PIXEL withdrawals and deposits across Pixels, Stacked, Staking, and Dungeons will be temporarily disabled
2. NFT avatar switching may not work as expected
3. Guild Shard trading will be unavailable
4. Pixel Dungeons reward distribution and purchases will be paused
5. Sleepagotchi staking will be affected

NFT land ownership changes made during this window may not reflect immediately, though this is considered a rare edge case.

🏗️ Ecosystem Direction — What's Coming

The big picture: Pixels has been sustainable for approximately 6 months (since end of December 2025). The team's return on reward spend is currently averaging 3.5x — meaning for every token given out, 3.5 tokens come back in as revenue. The focus now shifts from sustaining the game to scaling it.

Key changes coming:

1. Credit card / GCash payments will be added to Core Pixels. This requires moving earnings into Stacked first (already underway via Taskboard migration) so that crypto rewards stay in Stacked and the game itself can accept normal payments without triggering compliance issues.
2. USDC staking rewards — the Pixel Foundation is likely to start distributing staking rewards in USDC rather than only PIXEL, funded by real USD revenue from Chubkins and other products.
3. Paid advertising funnels — once USD revenue is flowing, the team will start running paid ads to grow Core Pixels and Chubkins.

Stacked updates coming soon:

1. In-game shop — spend Stacked points directly on in-game items
2. Cash-out options (gift cards, potentially PayPal)
3. Leaderboards
4. AI-tuned tasks for better game play and retention (less grind, more fun)

🐾 Chubkins Update

Chubkins is on the Google Play Store in early access. The next release will include new monsters, new ways to obtain them, and a complete sticker system. A major UI polish pass is also underway.

After that release, the game will open in the Philippines and the team will begin pushing it harder with paid acquisition. All metrics from early access are tracking positively.

🎖️ VIP Tier Update — Coming Early June

A full VIP overhaul launches in early June:

1. A new lower entry tier (Tier 1) is being added — existing tiers shift up accordingly
2. A new top tier (Tier 6) is being added for the highest-level players
3. A 1-month VIP coupon will be available for the first time (previously minimum 3 months)
4. Starting tier when you purchase: 1-month = Tier 1, 3-month = Tier 2, 6-month = Tier 4, 12-month = Tier 6
5. Existing VIP holders keep equivalent perks to their current tier (with some rebalancing across the board)
6. Base NFT landowner benefits have been buffed
