Hearth Hall - An Overview
Hearth Hall
Hearth Hall - A Fantastic New Dynamic in Pixels Online (introduced in Chapter 3: Bountyfall).
It adds a competitive, community-driven layer with faction-style Unions, resource contribution, sabotage, and big $PIXEL reward seasons. Hearth Hall replaced the old Pixels HQ in Terra Villa. It's the central hub for joining one of three Unions (Wildgroves, Seedwrights, or Reapers), contributing to your Union's Hearth, and competing in seasonal events. The mechanics are a bit complex at first (choosing a Union, collecting Yieldstones, Offerings, sabotage, etc.), but once you get the flow, it becomes a fun way to earn while playing normally.
Unions, Yieldstones, Hearths & How to Earn Big in Bountyfall
Chapter 3: Bountyfall brought a whole new competitive layer to Pixels with Hearth Hall โ the big building in Terra Villa that replaced the old HQ. Hearth Hall is where you join a Union, contribute resources to strengthen your Union's Hearth, sabotage rivals, and compete for massive seasonal $PIXEL rewards. It's part collaboration (with your Union) and part competition (against the other two). If you're wondering what all the Yieldstones and Offerings are about, this guide breaks it down step-by-step so you can jump in confidently and maximize your earnings.
What is Hearth Hall?
Located in Terra Villa (right where the old Pixels HQ used to be).
It's now the main hub for Union gameplay and the Bountyfall seasons.
Inside you'll find NPCs like Albus and Lucia, a Chamber Shop, and at the back โ the three giant Hearths (one for each Union).
The Three Unions (Choose Your Path)
Each Union has its own philosophy and matching Yieldstone type:
Wildgroves โ Let the land breathe and grow wild naturally. They use Verdant Yieldstones.
Seedwrights โ Shape and guide the land with purpose and discipline. They use Flint Yieldstones.
Reapers โ Embrace the balance of life and death, giving what must be given. They use Hollow Yieldstones.
How to Get Started (Step-by-Step)
1. Go to Hearth Hall in Terra Villa.
2. Step inside and start the introductory quest โ it explains the lore and helps you choose your Union.
3. Pick one Union (you can switch later).
4. Head to the back of the hall to see the three Hearths.
5. Click on your Unionโs Hearth to open the Hearth Manager โ this shows health progress, deposits, sabotages, and the Offerings tab.
Yieldstones โ The Core Resource
Yieldstones come in 5 tiers (Tier 1 weakest โ Tier 5 strongest) and are non-tradable. You deposit matching ones into your Hearth to increase its health toward 100%.
Ways to Get Yieldstones:
Complete Task Board tasks โ rewards via the Infinifunnel at your home.
NFT land owners: Buy a Yieldstone Press from the Chamber Shop, craft Yield Reactors (recipes from Lucia), and place the Press on your land (up to 4 on large lands, 2 on small). It generates Yieldstones matching the Union you assigned to that land.
Reactors need rare ingredients: Mirage Eggs, Ashnuts, Gloomshards, Sunblooms, PearlySwirls (from high-level activities).
Offerings & Leveling the Hearth
Buy Power Offerings (boost/amplify) or Defense Offerings (protect against sabotage) from the Chamber Shop.
Submit them before the timer expires in the Hearth Manager. Successful submissions can level up the Hearth and speed up progress.
Miss the timer โ offering lost and possible level drop.
Sabotage
You can place rival Yieldstones (wrong type) into opposing Hearths to reduce their health. Defense Offerings help protect your own Union.
Switching Unions
First switch is often free or low cost.
After that: Buy a Harvest Union Changer from the Chamber Shop (costs ~50 $PIXEL).
48-hour cooldown between switches.
Bountyfall Seasons & Rewards
Each season runs until one Union reaches 100% Hearth health.
1st place Union: 70% of the prize pool
2nd place: 30%
3rd place: Starter Yieldstones for next season
The prize pool grows with total player activity (more deposits/sabotages = bigger pool). Rewards go only to active contributors and are distributed based on your personal contribution. Leaderboards track deposits, sabotages, Offerings, etc. Top players may get extra bonuses.
Pro Tips for Mastery
Focus on high-tier Yieldstones for bigger impact.
Coordinate with your Union (many players chat in Discord or in-game).
Use Defense Offerings during intense races.
Land owners: Prioritize Yieldstone Presses for passive generation.
Check the Hearth Manager often to track progress and timers.
Early seasons can have big pools โ consistent daily contributions add up fast.
Troubleshooting / Common Questions
Yieldstones not appearing? Make sure your land is assigned to the correct Union and the Press has a Reactor.
Can't find NPCs? Some (like Karen & Kathleen) moved to the Post Office after the HQ change.
New to Chapter 3? Complete the Hearth Hall quest first โ it walks you through the basics.
Conclusion
Hearth Hall turns regular farming and tasks into a bigger strategic game with real earning potential. Whether you love the chill vibe of Wildgroves, the disciplined approach of Seedwrights, or the edgy balance of Reapers, contributing consistently is the key to rewards.
