Neon Zone: The Arcade
Neon Zone: The Arcade
Neon Zone is a great place to relax and play between tasks β and it doesn't use any energy!
Getting Started
When you arrive in the foyer, you'll be greeted by three characters: Artie, Bart, and Buffy.
- Purchase Zone Tokens from Bart to play the games.
- Earn Stuff Stubs as you play and exchange them with Buffy for prizes from the Revolving 3rd Dimension Store.
- To check your current Stuff Stubs balance, hover over your coin/pixel balance.
Ranked Games & Leaderboard
When playing, make sure to choose Ranked Games β this puts you on the leaderboard, which runs for one week before refreshing. There are great pixel prizes up for grabs each week.
Pro Tip: Be strategic about when you play. If you're in it for the pixels, aim to play during weeks when other players are busy with events or taking a break. Tickets can be expensive, and the outlay isn't always worth it if competition is high that week.
The Games
The games are located upstairs. Here's a rundown of each game, starting on the left from front to back, then the right side.
Left Side (Front to Back)
Squish the Fish
You You have 45 seconds to click as many fish as possible. Click the gold and silver fish for points β avoid the bronze fish, as they subtract points. Having a pet gives you an advantage, as your reach is extended so you don't have to run around as much.
Bunny Baiter
You have 45 seconds to uncover as many rabbits as possible. The number below a hole will turn yellow just before something pops out β click the moles (they subtract points) carefully, and tap the bunnies for points. Don't hit the bunnies on the head! Fair warning: this one is considered quite tricky.
Higher / Lower
A game of chance β or psychic ability (play to your strengths!). Simply guess whether the next card will be higher, lower, or the same.
Right Side (Front to Back)
Veggie Vexer
This is essentially a Mastermind-style game. Choose from a selection of fruits and veggies and guess the secret code. There's no time limit, making it the least stressful game in the arcade. While you may not solve it in the fewest moves, there is a reliable strategy: use each veggie once across the first two rows and half of the third. This process of elimination will identify the correct items, giving you enough information to work out the answer in the remaining moves.
Living Labyrinth You have approximately 2 minutes to navigate a maze by flashlight. You're looking for a lever that opens the back portion of the maze to the exit β the lever moves with each run, but it always appears in one of the same 6 fixed locations. Once you learn those locations, start checking from the left side first, as the lever appears there more frequently.
Be cautious of the chests along the route β opening the wrong one will spawn a zombie and send you back to the beginning. The real reward is at the end: 6 treasure chests behind the gates that the lever unlocks, just before the exit.
Da Bomb
If you've ever played Minesweeper, you'll have some idea β though this is considerably harder. Choose your wager and the number of bombs, then click away. Hit a bomb and you'll lose everything. High risk, high reward!
Lower Basement Level
Leon's Hold'em
As the name suggests, this is a poker venue. Further details on how Leon's Hold'em functions are still needed.
