OVERVIEW: YOUR GAME INTERFACE
The Pixels Online interface has two main navigation areas:
- Top Right: Main navigation buttons + wallet balances
- Top Left: Secondary menu (settings, mail, dashboard)
Mastering these menus will save you TIME and ENERGY. This guide covers every button, what it does, and pro tips for each.
TOP RIGHT: MAIN NAVIGATION BUTTONS β
YOUR WALLET BALANCES (Top Right Corner)
What You See:
- $PIXEL balance
- Coin balance
- Energy amount
Pro Tip: ? Hover over these amounts to see a detailed pop-out window displaying:
- Buoy Bucks
- Quicksilver
- Other resources
This saves you from opening multiple menus to check your full inventory!
TRAVEL BUTTON :
Location: First button (top to bottom)
What It Does: Opens a pop-out window with fast travel options to:
- TerraVilla (Main town square)
- Your Speck (Your personal home)
- Your NFT Land (If you own NFT property)
- Bookmarks (Locations you've saved)
Why This Matters:
- Saves TONS of walking time
- Essential for efficient task completion
- Energy-free travel (no energy cost to fast travel!)
Pro Tips: β Bookmark frequently-used NFT lands (public farms, crafting stations) β Use Travel instead of walking to save energy β Create a mental "travel route" for your daily tasks
SKILLS BUTTON:
Location: Second button
What It Does: Displays a detailed pop-up showing:
- Current skill levels (Farming, Cooking, Woodworking, etc.)
- Current XP for each skill
- XP required to reach the next level
Why This Matters:
- Track your progression
- Know how close you are to leveling up
- Plan which skills to focus on next
Pro Tips: β Check before accepting task board orders (know your capabilities) β Focus on skills that are ALMOST leveled up (quick wins!) β Balance skill leveling (don't rush one skill to max)
Understanding Skill Levels:
- Higher skills = More complex recipes unlocked
- More recipes = More task board variety
- More variety = Better earning potential
PLAYER INFORMATION BUTTON:
Location: Third button
What It Does: Opens a comprehensive menu with these options:
1. Change Your Appearance
- Customize your avatar's look
- Change clothing, hair, skin tone
- Free to modify anytime
2. Choose an NFT Avatar
- Display NFT profile pictures you own
- IMPORTANT: Make sure the NFT is in your connected wallet!
- Click "Find NFTs" at the bottom to refresh the list
- NFT avatars can be purchased on OpenSea
How to Use NFT Avatars:
- Purchase an NFT avatar on OpenSea
- Make sure it's in your Ronin wallet
- Open Player Information menu
- Click "Choose an NFT Avatar"
- Click "Find NFTs" to refresh
- Select your NFT to display
3. Change Your Username
- Modify your in-game display name
- (Check if there are restrictions/costs)
4. VIP Benefits
- View all VIP membership perks
- See what you're missing if you're not VIP
- Check VIP renewal status
5. Player Statistics
- View your game stats (hours played, items crafted, etc.)
- Track achievements
- See your progression over time
6. 30 Seconds Alone β±οΈ
- What It Is: Temporarily hides other players from your screen
- Why Use It: Crowds can cause lag or make clicking difficult
- Perfect For: Busy areas, events, or when you need to focus
Pro Tip: Use "30 Seconds Alone" during:
- Energy parties (too crowded to click properly)
- Popular crafting stations (multiple players using same spot)
- When your game is lagging
PETS BUTTON:
Location: Fourth button
What It Does:
- Access your NFT pets
- View pet information (stats, abilities)
- Equip/unequip pets
- Check pet inventory bonuses
Why Pets Matter:
- Increased reach (collect items from farther away)
- Extra carry capacity (more inventory space)
- Special abilities (varies by pet type)
Pro Tip: Always have a pet equipped if you own one! The efficiency boost is HUGE.
MAP VIEW BUTTON:
Location: Fifth button
What It Does:
- Zooms out to show the full map
- See entire area at once
- WARNING: You CANNOT walk around in this mode
When to Use:
- Planning your route
- Finding specific locations
- Seeing where other players are gathering
- Checking event locations
How to Exit: Click the button again or use ESC key
OFFERS BUTTON:
Location: Sixth button
What It Does: Displays current in-game offers and challenges you can complete to earn prizes.
Offer Categories:
- Task Board Challenges (Complete X orders)
- Achievements (Reach milestones)
- Neon Zone (Play arcade games)
- Hearth Hall (Faction participation)
- Merchant Ships (Trading contracts)
Prizes You Can Earn:
- ? Reputation points
- ? $PIXEL tokens
- ? Coins
- β Buoy Bucks
- β‘ Energy drinks
- β‘ Quicksilver (crafting speed-up)
Pro Tips: β Check offers DAILY (they refresh!) β Focus on offers that align with your current activities β Don't waste energy on low-value offers β Reputation offers are GOLD (unlock market access!)
Strategy: Plan your gameplay around active offers for maximum efficiency. If there's a "Complete 5 cooking tasks" offer, prioritize cooking orders!
TOP LEFT: SECONDARY MENU (Settings & Utilities) βοΈ
These buttons are used less frequently but are still ESSENTIAL.
DASHBOARD BUTTON:
Location: Top button (left side)
What It Does: Opens your comprehensive dashboard with ALL management functions.
Dashboard Features Include:
- Game statistics
- Inventory management
- Achievement tracking
- Historical data
- And more (covered in separate Dashboard chapter)
When to Use:
- Deep-dive into your game data
- Track long-term progress
- Manage complex inventories
SETTINGS BUTTON βοΈ
Location: Second button (left side)
What It Does: Opens settings menu to adjust:
Sound Settings:
- Music volume
- Sound effects volume
- Mute options
Graphics Settings:
- Visual quality (low/medium/high)
- Frame rate options
- Performance optimization
Pro Tip: If your game is lagging, try:
- Lower graphics quality
- Use "30 Seconds Alone" in crowds
- Close other browser tabs
MAILBOX BUTTON:
Location: Third button (left side)
What It Does: Displays all incoming rewards and messages.
What Appears in Your Mailbox:
- Reward claims (event prizes, achievements)
- $PIXEL deposits (when you buy or transfer PIXEL)
- System notifications
- Gifts from other players (if applicable)
β οΈ CRITICAL: You MUST collect items from your mailbox for them to appear in your balance!
Common Issue:
- "I deposited $PIXEL but don't see it!"
- Solution: Check your mailbox and click "Collect All"
Pro Tips: β Check mailbox after every deposit β Don't let rewards pile up (they might expire) β Collect everything immediately
VIP INFINIFUNNEL BUTTON:
Location: Fourth button (left side) Requirement: VIP Membership ONLY
What It Does: Access your task board (Infinifunnel) from ANYWHERE in the game.
Without VIP: You must physically go to your house to access your task board. With VIP: Instant access from any location!
Why This is HUGE:
- Saves walking time
- Saves energy (no travel needed)
- Complete orders faster
- Check available tasks without going home
Time Savings Example:
- Non-VIP: Walk to house (2 min) β Check tasks β Walk to location (3 min) = 5 minutes
- VIP: Open menu instantly β Check tasks β Already at location = 0 minutes
This feature ALONE can save you 30-60 minutes per day of active playtime.
Pro Tip: This is one of the TOP reasons to get VIP. The time savings compound massively over weeks of gameplay.
HELP BUTTON:
Location: Fifth button (left side)
What It Does: Provides access to:
- In-game help guides (basic gameplay tips)
- Official Pixels Help Desk (support tickets)
- FAQ links
- Tutorial refreshers
When to Use:
- Stuck on a quest
- Don't understand a game mechanic
- Need to contact support
- Technical issues
Pro Tip: Before submitting a support ticket, check:
- This wiki! (We might have the answer)
- Pixels Discord (community can help fast)
- The FAQ section in Help menu
LOG OUT BUTTON:
Location: Bottom button (left side)
What It Does:
- Logs you out of the game
- Disconnects your wallet (if you signed in via wallet)
Important Notes:
- Your progress is auto-saved (no need to manually save)
- Energy continues regenerating OFFLINE (big benefit!)
- You can safely log out anytime
When to Log Out:
- Switching accounts
- Finished playing for the session
- Connecting a different wallet
- Security concerns (shared computer)
Pro Tip: Logging out doesn't hurt your progress! Your energy will regen offline, so taking breaks is actually GOOD strategy.
Daily Navigation Routine
- Check mailbox (collect rewards)
- Check offers (plan your activities)
- Review skills (track progression)
- Open task board (VIP: use Infinifunnel; Non-VIP: travel to house)
Energy-Saving Navigation
- Use Travel button instead of walking (saves energy)
- Bookmark common locations (public lands, crafting stations)
- Plan routes before starting (minimize backtracking)
Crowd Management
- Use "30 Seconds Alone" in busy areas
- Lower graphics settings if lagging
- Visit popular locations during off-peak hours
COMMON MISTAKES & HOW TO AVOID THEM β
Mistake #1: Not Checking Mailbox After Deposits
Problem: "My $PIXEL didn't arrive!" Solution: Always collect from mailbox after deposits.
Mistake #2: Forgetting to Bookmark Useful Lands
Problem: Wasting time searching for that one good public farm. Solution: Bookmark immediately when you find a great location.
Mistake #3: Ignoring the Offers Menu
Problem: Missing out on easy reputation and rewards. Solution: Check offers DAILY and plan activities around them.
Mistake #4: Walking Everywhere (Non-VIP Players)
Problem: Wasting energy and time. Solution: Use the Travel button for fast travel (it's free!).
Mistake #5: Not Using "30 Seconds Alone"
Problem: Lag and click frustration in crowds. Solution: Use this feature liberallyβit's there for a reason!
